We are seeking top notch Canvas / Upholstery Technicians to join our team in our Service Yard in Portsmouth, RI.

The Canvas / Upholstery Technician performs complex sewing tasks primarily with canvas, and occasionally with leather or other fabrics.
Candidate will visualize conceptual design and apply knowledge and experience to fabricate/manufacture product to achieve desired results.
The ideal candidate is able to determine the pattern making and estimate the approximate yardage necessary to produce and cover cushions, dodgers, Biminis, window covers and other canvas boat accessories.
Candidate will draw and cut out complex master patterns for fabric boat accessories following sketches, sample articles, and design specifications and will operate an industrial sewing machine to seam cushions and join various sections of covering material.
